Specifically designed for the precise and efficient application of localised herbicides in row-planted crops such as vineyards, orchards or olive groves, Rocha inter-row booms are primarily intended to treat the soil directly along the row, between plants, without affecting the main crop.
These booms ensure effective weed control and the maintenance of ground cover in row crops in a simple and precise way, while above all ensuring the protection of plants and the environment.
Versatile configurations
Available in single (unilateral) or double (bilateral) versions, with the possibility of integrating a central section, they allow operation on one side only, both sides or the entire inter-row, maximising work efficiency. There are several models capable of operating in inter-row widths ranging from 1.8 m to 7 m.
Localised protection
Equipped with shields (hoods), or shields with an anti-drift protection kit, they prevent herbicide spray from reaching the leaves or trunk of vines/trees — which is crucial, especially for young plants — while also ensuring greater environmental protection.
Spray nozzles
The shields can be equipped with single, double or triple nozzles, including an adjustable nozzle at each end to facilitate adjustment and improve product reach. Options with anti-drift technology are also available, producing larger droplets, reducing drift and ensuring more precise application.
Articulation systems
The articulation systems allow hydraulic adjustment of the inclination of the shields, facilitating transport and adaptation to different ground slopes. Safety springs enable retraction in case of contact with trunks or posts, preventing mechanical damage to both the equipment and the plants.
Telescopic systems
Telescopic systems, manual or hydraulic, ensure adjustment of working height and width, allowing the equipment to adapt to terrain conditions, weed development and different planting spacings.
Ergonomics, usability and movement control
Simpler models do not include hydraulic controls and are equipped with manual controls as standard. In other models, it is optionally possible to integrate electro-hydraulic controls (joystick or electronic control box), improving ergonomics, simplifying installation on the tractor and enhancing the protection of the operator–tractor–equipment assembly.

Mounting
Generally mounted on the front of the tractor to ensure better operator visibility and facilitate driving between rows, the booms can also be optionally adapted to mounting plates for Pulverizadores Rocha pruning equipment or to the tractor’s front arms.

Rocha inter-row booms promote more sustainable crop management by reducing product waste, minimising environmental impact and reinforcing more efficient and responsible agriculture.
